How AuthorityFix works

Three steps from “what should I check?” to “what should I do next?”

Run the Local Audit first, review the first priority, then connect Plus only when read-only whole-site comparison would help.

01

Run the Local Audit

Check the WordPress facts this site can expose safely: titles, headings, indexability, internal links, schema signals and basic site settings. No account is required.

02

Review the first priority

AuthorityFix puts the most important finding first, explains why it matters in plain language and keeps the supporting evidence available when you want it.

03

Connect Plus when useful

Connect only when you want read-only whole-site comparison for patterns such as overlap, topic clusters and internal-link relationships.

What the Local Audit checks

Six evidence dimensions behind the first priority.

The inventory translates observable WordPress signals into a review system for AI search readiness, entity clarity and E-E-A-T supporting evidence. It does not turn those signals into a fictional Google score.

Who is responsible?

Entity identity

Checks whether scanned pages expose attributable authorship. Identity is observed; expertise still requires human evidence.

Can the page be parsed?

Answerability structure

Observes explicit heading structure as a preparation signal, never as a verdict on quality or inclusion in an AI answer.

Is provenance visible?

Evidence & trust

Checks whether publication and update dates are exposed so reviewers can investigate freshness, sourcing and accountability.

Can entities be interpreted?

Machine-readable entity graph

Detects JSON-LD type names and coverage. Structured data must still match visible content and pass external validation.

Can the content be found?

Access & discoverability

Observes local indexability signals without claiming that a search engine has crawled, indexed or selected the page.

How does authority flow?

Topical internal graph

Maps incoming internal links in the scanned inventory to expose isolated pages and weak topical relationships.

Evidence before inference. Local coverage describes what the scanner can observe. Expertise, trustworthiness, structured data accuracy and YMYL risk still require qualified human review.

Built for high-trust and YMYL workflows

Premium control where careless automation costs the most.

Health, legal, financial and other high-stakes publishers need more than a generic SEO checklist. AuthoritySpecialist makes provenance, evidence boundaries and approval state visible before a live change.

YMYL-aware does not mean legally, medically or financially compliant. Final review stays with the qualified publisher.

Visible responsibility

Authorship and identity signals are surfaced for review, not silently assumed.

E-E-A-T supporting evidence

Dates, structure and detectable schema become an evidence ledger—not a proprietary E-E-A-T score.

Entity and topical relationships

JSON-LD types and internal links expose where the machine-readable graph is thin or disconnected.

Human review boundary

Connected analysis stays read-only. Separately authorized Service changes require an explicit apply step and recheck the approved change before writing.

Designed for coexistence

Add an authority layer without replacing your SEO stack.

AuthoritySpecialist orchestrates evidence and controlled action. It does not compete to emit the same metadata.

Yoast SEO

Read-only adapter; no duplicate titles, canonicals, robots directives or schema.

Rank Math

Reads observable page signals without changing Rank Math settings.

All in One SEO

Coexists without replacing its metadata or emitting a second SEO layer.

WordPress multisite

Per-site installation state and options; network activation is supported.

Security and data boundary

Useful without a cloud account. Narrow when connected.

The plugin starts with telemetry off. Its local inventory runs without sending page data, and browser code only calls the local WordPress REST API.

  • No administrator password or Application Password.
  • Outbound HTTPS to an exact allowlisted origin and path set.
  • Site-scoped credentials encrypted with the WordPress auth key.
  • Read-only Connected analysis; no remote executable code.
  • Rotatable credentials and explicit revoke.

Stays in WordPress

Local findings, exports, settings, local audit history and the encrypted connection secret.

Shared after approval

Limited page summaries, URLs, evidence, readiness dimensions and content hashes.

Calculated in the dashboard

The plugin does not measure results. Connected GSC comparisons are delayed, aggregated and calculated by the AuthoritySpecialist dashboard.

What you get today

Useful before account creation. Deeper when you choose to connect.

Local Audit

Priorities from this WordPress site

Review site settings, saved page evidence, internal discovery and structured-data signals without creating an account.

AuthorityFix Plus

Read-only whole-site analysis

Compare approved pages for overlap, topic clusters, link relationships, indexing signals and structural AI-search readiness. Usage limits apply.

Human control

You decide what changes

The current analysis returns evidence and recommendations. It does not automatically edit or publish WordPress content.

Compatibility

Keep your existing SEO plugin

AuthorityFix is designed to coexist with Yoast, Rank Math and All in One SEO without emitting a duplicate SEO layer.

More about optional capabilities and limits
Optional dashboard data

Search and visitor evidence stays separate

If you later connect Search Console or Analytics in the dashboard, measured data stays distinct from local audit findings and estimates.

Separately authorized

Service changes stay under your control

Connected Plus analysis remains read-only. A separately authorized Service change can create a draft or update an excerpt only after you explicitly apply the approved change; the current workflow also keeps its rollback and precondition checks.

Not in this release

External AI visibility observation

AuthorityFix does not claim that a structural readiness check proves visibility or citations in external AI answers.

Account-bound limits

Usage is shown before you run Plus

The connected account remains the authority for current site, page and analysis limits.

What does AuthorityFix do first?

It runs a Local Audit inside WordPress with clear safety limits and gives you a prioritized list of findings with evidence and limitations. You do not need an AuthorityFix account for this step.

Why would I connect AuthorityFix Plus?

Plus can compare approved pages together for overlap, clusters, internal-link relationships, schema consistency, indexing signals and other whole-site patterns that are heavier to calculate safely on many WordPress hosts.

Does it calculate an E-E-A-T score?

No. E-E-A-T is not reduced to a plugin score. AuthoritySpecialist reports supporting signals such as attributable authorship, dates and detectable structured data, with their evidence and limits.

What does YMYL-aware mean?

High-stakes findings stay attributable and reviewable. The current release does not apply Connected changes, and it does not certify medical, legal, financial or regulatory compliance.

Does it replace Yoast or Rank Math?

No. The plugin reads compatible signals and deliberately avoids emitting a duplicate SEO layer.

Can it publish automatically?

No. Connected analysis is read-only and Service changes never publish automatically. A separately authorized Service change can create a draft or update an excerpt only after an explicit apply step, with the current precondition and rollback protections.

Does the Local Audit require a card or account?

No. The Local Audit runs in WordPress without an AuthorityFix account. Creating an account is only part of the optional Plus connection flow.

Does it prove visibility in AI answers?

No. Readiness is preparation. Observed AI visibility would require a real external run with surface, model, date, location and repetitions.

What happens on uninstall?

Data is retained by default to avoid destructive surprises. Administrators can explicitly opt into deleting plugin-owned data.
