The first quarter is about setup, not visibility. Your website gets a technical SEO audit, content architecture is planned, and the CMS is optimized for search. You'll see keyword research, competitor analysis, and initial content mapping—but organic traffic usually doesn't move much yet.
In our experience working with plastic surgery practices, this phase includes:
- Technical fixes: Site speed, mobile responsiveness, schema markup (medical practice, local business, healthcare professional).
- Content foundation: Procedure pages, before/after galleries with proper HIPAA-compliant alt text, and foundational blog posts on common patient questions.
- Local setup: Google Business Profile optimization, NAP consistency across directories, and citation building.
Expect to see zero to minimal organic traffic during this window. This is normal. The work compounds later. Some practices report slight dips in existing traffic as the site is restructured—this is temporary. Focus on completion, not stats.
